We lost everything in a house fire February 2018. My wife and I have four young children and we were all home at the time of the fire. My family and I got out safely, but the devastation of a total loss is a feeling I cannot describe. My wife and I held our children and watched ten years of memories disappear in the flames. Surprisingly, it was not the large expensive possessions that crossed my mind. There were “little things” that you ordinarily wouldn’t think about, like the baseball that my son caught at Fenway Park and displayed proudly in his room. As the fire dept. was still battling the flames we found out that someone from Childress Insurance Agency had personally delivered a gift card along with condolences to us. I remembered just a few years ago getting my usual call from my agent at Childress saying that it was time for my homeowner’s renewal. This time he was excited to let me know that they were now able to offer Auto Owners Insurance and the premium was more competitive than my current policy. I asked what his recommendation was, and he told me of the excellent service ratings that Auto Owners had achieved. As usual I went with the recommendation. Letting my agent shop for the best insurance for me was always a very painless experience. After the fire I was face to face with an adjuster from Auto Owners within 24 hrs. He came with a check in hand just to make things easier while we went through the process. The entire home claim was paid less than two weeks later! I never knew that an insurance company could actually make you feel “cared for.” Assistance was provided for procuring temporary housing, completing forms, and even listing our contents. That may not seem like much, but I have to say that when faced with a significant loss it is the “little things” that matter most…, in life, family, and in business.

We switched our personal insurance to Childress at the first of the year, because they saved us over $300 on our auto and home insurance. And we just switched the insurance on my wife's retail store in July and we saved another $250. I was amazed at how much money Marcia and Melissa saved us on these 3 policies. And the service has been excellent also - we had to file a claim when some of my wife's jewelry was stolen, and Melissa called several times to make sure the insurance company was not only working on our claim, but contacting us often with updates. And the check we received from the insurance company included all the applicable sales taxes amounts for our town. Childress Insurance Agency is a wonderful company. My husband and I had coverage for two autos with Childress. They provided the cheapest insurance in town and excellent customer service. The claims process was quick and easy as well. If we had not moved out of state, I would of used Childress Insurance forever. Our insurance now is 50.00 more per month with USAA . I sure miss Childress! I know several individuals who bundled with Childress and came out with a great deal for auto and home insurance. I would recommend Childress to everyone!

I love that I switched to Childress Insurance. We bundled our two vehicles, full coverage, and our home insurance and got a really great monthly rate. They are always friendly and information every time I call in! I had Farmers Insurance before we switched about 7 months ago and we are paying only a few dollars more with 2 vehicles and home insurance, as opposed to the 1 vehicle I had with Farmers.I strongly suggest Childress for your insurance! :-)
