I lost my free coverage of a medication ive been attempting to get for 5 years for a genetic condition that has no generic option i have paid over 2,000 this year alone so far in appointments and such because of their inability to even use our autopay thats been in place for over 20 years. Marlene said it was because the new employee was uneducated on the matter and because of that i was uninsured and couldnt see 2/4 appointments because of so.

I spent 5 years getting a medication for a medical condition that there is no alternative medicine for. Now because they didnt apply my payment and i lost insurance coverage in january i have not been able to pick up the medications which if i had it would have cost me another 600-900 on top of the 3x premium value i was paying because i made a little less money than the previous year and was pushed to medi-cal, advised by them to contact and work with them and wrote a sworn affidavit to the gov't regarding it and they still continue to dispute.

3rd parties are absolutely useless and just increase insurance costs as companies have to get paid somehow and if its nto coming from the consumers pocket the insurance agencys are just increasing so themselves.

Just contact blue shield(your private insurance) directly as they have no access to any of the information and require myself to report it to them for them to report it to the private insurance. Which is useless when you can just contact the insurer and remove a 3rd party/middle man who can mis handle/mis represent you and cost you thousands of dollars in months.

Don’t use! I requested a time-sensitive homeowners insurance quote and the Hayek agent, Sam, said he’d get back to me within two days. Despite following up three days later, Sam never got back to me. Unprofessional is an understatement. They’ve lost a customer and my respect.

I'm not new to using insurance agents. I know a lot about insurance. I am so knowledgeable, I know not to try and navigate those waters on my own. Be it home, auto, earthquake, umbrella coverage, health, I have always preferred using the expertise of an independent (as opposed to captive) insurance agent.

I’ve had my share of agents over years in the different venues I’ve lived in. Most of them have been fine. While shopping for health coverage for my recent college graduate kid and my not yet Medicare covered wife was not so easy, not a lot of agents want to handle individual health coverage.

Roger Hayek has been taking care of my car insurance for more than a year and a half now. After winning me over, he and his staff always alert me to renewals and confirm that my coverage is the best it can be. They were swift to take action when an old expiration date for my credit card threw a monkey wrench in my last renewal and fixed everything the same day.

I wasted 2 months for my MediCal approval after Hayeki dropped the ball. Edit your website to stop looking like it's MediCal. Be honest. It's about health after all. I called Hayeki and Marlene was a bit nicer than most, but it is a business, right? She blamed a sub-middle man company for the mistake. My name stopped appearing in email headings after 2 emails (red light) although I kept the standard business protocol. Suddenly, I am offered regular insurance and not MediCal, which was the reason I called in the first place! About how they messed up my application lol I asked for clarification and got that I wasn't eligible. "Estimated incomes" do not make an applicant ineligible. I was borderline. I said coverage even for one year (if I made too much the next year) would be fantastic as I've been paying a few thousand out of pocket for skin cancer treatment. Yet MediCal was never mentioned until I complained and asked for clarification. sigh. Then suddenly, "Well, if you'd like us to apply...." I thought I was ineligible? If you know I am, then you are wasting more of my valuable (and expensive!) time; if it's possible that I am eligible, then you were lying or incompetent before. No thanks. I've wasted enough time with you and your company. I was foolish to try after seeing how your website misleads. Sad. Weird. I hope others don't get more messed up that I did from this.
