I just bought a new car and knew I had to go through Sonia's Allstate agency because she is such a kind and trustworthy person. I typically get overwhelmed when researching insurances and this was not at all the case this time. Sonia went above and beyond to get me the best price possible and to meet my many needs for both auto and renters insurance. It feels great to know I can trust my agent to always act in my best interest and to treat me with patience and kindness. I feel confident in the plans we selected and can tell how much she truly cares about her clients. I don't even live in Chico anymore, but I knew I wanted an insurance agency that I could rely on. When my husband and I finally found another amazing home in Magalia we wanted to buy, I had a very hard time finding adequate homeowners insurance policies. I spent 2 weeks calling various brokers and agencies trying to get a decent policy (I wasn't about to take my chances with the Cal-Fair Policy). I came across Sonia's Facebook post on the Camp Fire Page and decided to give them a call. BEST decision ever!

After dealing with my previous homeowners insurer and realizing that I hadn't made sure we were fully covered on our last policy, I knew this time around I needed to be sure the limits and coverages on the new policy would protect our assets. Marina spent a lot of time making the necessary adjustments to our policy and was very conscientious of my situation and needs, and worked very hard to get us what we needed. She managed to get us a very good North Light policy along with a great umbrella policy that gave us the added protection I wanted. She did such an amazing job with our homeowners policy, I moved over my auto insurance and liability policy on our burned lot to Allstate as well. These are some amazing people who truly care about their customers and do whatever they can to make sure their customers are well protected! Thank you Marina and Sonia for helping us get our lives back after the fire!!

Not sure why Sonia thinks that sending people mail with photos of their home on the front of the letter would be a good marketing tactic. By far the sleaziest marketing I’ve ever seen. I would never do business with someone like Sonia Aery after seeing the scare tactics they use in their marketing effort to get your attention. Despicable.

EDIT - The letter also shows that you have 5.0 stars on Google Reviews which I’m just noticing is a flat out lie. Looks like 3.6 stars to me. What a joke.

This used to be a great insurance agent office under Mark Williams. I had been an auto policy customer for 24 years until recently.

Enter Sonia Aery... Now they are the absolute worst office. My insurance costs havd gone up every year with zero explanation as to why. Office staff clearly do not care about your circumstances.

I cancelled my auto last week and just received a notice of cancelation due to non-payment. I am currently writing a nasty gram with Sonia's name on it.

If you value being treated with respect and honesty DO NOT purchase your insurance with this Allstate office.

Miserable bunch. It's amazing any of them are qualified to represent Allstate. Tried to cancel my insurance policy because I sold my vehicle and they said I need to submit proof of my sale; no problem. However, after two weeks of looking for it (it was around the holidays and I was busy), I wasn't able to find the record they needed and I wasn't going to spend anymore time on something as seemingly simple as cancelling an ins. policy, so I let them know I gave it my best but they need to just go ahead and cancel it without that record. However, they insisted that I needed to submit that record in order to cancel my policy. I let them know that regardless of their companies requirement to obtain the record (which I truthfully tried to honor), it's not my legal obligation to produce it in order to cancel my policy. After 20 minutes of talking in circles I realized I wasn't going to get through to their arrogant, inept staff and called the 1-800 number; 5 minutes later my policy was cancelled and post-dated correctly.

Moral of the story here: Allstate will automatically assign you to a local office so there's nothing you can do if you're assigned to them (to my knowledge). If you are assigned to this office, don't bother trying to work with them if you can help it, go straight to the more qualified 1-800 agents.

Worst customer service, they lie and try to steal your money I had insurance with them for 5 days pay $95.44 recive $21.04 in refund call them up and they said they have rules and regulations when you cancel new insurance fast and that was my refund. I asked Marina for an atomized receipt of what I pay she said she don't have that and hung the phone on me. They also made me wait for 6 day because accord g to the due to the wild fires they needed to summit my home owners insurance to get approved and they really were looking for the best bidder for my home owners insurance when I ask them where's my discount for bundling she said I was already getting a discount and come to find out she couldn't give me bundle discou t because home and car insurance wasn't the same that's what made me cancel my car insurance and that's why I waited 6 days to cancel if they would of mention that to begging with I wouldn't never even try them. They also quote me one price and at the time to charge me it was a totally different price

I absolutely love my Allstate agent and her team. Their customer service is brilliant, and they are super fast on getting back to you along with sending out reimbursements for roadside assistance.
