I use to have this insurance but every sense I signed up my total amount due for my insurance went up & up. I couldnβt believe it at first I thought maybe it was late fees or maybe they were charging me for something that I didnβt want. So I paid it 1 month to another month &to another & finally, I said to myself what is going on & why does it keep rising. I quit services with them & my last bill was $276. Which I absolutely was not gonna pay.. Every month it would go up at least 13$. I just was fed up with it in the end & decided to find something cheaper & more reasonable. Now my beginning quote was good. But they duped me. lol wow. I wish I would have seen& researched more. Sign up@ur own risk.
BEWARE OF THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!! A friend's FULLY COVERED vehicle with them was stolen....car was never found....& they refused to pay him for his car! He took them to court, sued them & DID get compensated!!!ππππ Like I said: BEWARE!!

To offset all the negative reviews, I only have one complaint issue and that was with the adjuster who the auto body repair manager also concurred she was difficult and kind of rude, but she authorized payment of my van which slid into a cement wall at work after I moved from California to Prescott Arizona and the snow and ice condition at night when it was dark and the parking area was/is not well lit, I filed a claim and it was paid without any further incident regarding the amount...all I had to pay was the deductible. So, other than the rudeness in the beginning, I have a good experience with Stonegate through Suncoast Agency in Laguna Hills, California and the coverage is inexpensive compared to Geico, Allstate, State Farm and others.
This company works with sleezy underwriters and adjusters to delay and then low-ball any repair. Their insured hit our vehicle and immediately owned up to fault. However, after fighting them for over 2 months, they offered less than 1/3 the cost of the repair as estimated by a reputable shop. These people have poor service, poor business practices. Stay away if you value time or money.
I canceled my policy with them 15 days before they claim I did, they charged my account and are refusing to process a full refund because "they only now received cancelation request." Please choose anybody but this company to avoid massive headache.
I have had suncost for several years with no incidents. I recently had a very small incident at a Broncos hand trying to park with all the tents obscuring the area. Damage was $960 to other car. My rates went up $150 a month. Horrible customer care trying to find out why. Get penalized fired having the insurance do what they were paid to do. By the way, I have had no claims or tickets in 20 years

Over charge for insurance..got the same insurance at GEICO for half the price they had me pay

Worst company ever for car insurance. I was quoted a price and they ended up charging me double what I was quoted. Paperwork completed, then they spring the price on me. Due to the fact, that I can find insurance a lot cheaper somewhere else. I will not stay with this company and I would never recommend this company to anyone that wants a decent price on car insurance!

I have had the worst experience with their claims department. Their insured ran a red light, struck my vehicle and admitted guilt at the scene of the accident but they will not update me or accept liability for the claim. I even sent them the video of their insured admitting guilt. I just want them to pay for the damages to the vehicle even though I was in my second trimester of pregnancy at the time and have paid for my own hospital visits.
I was involved in a hit and run. I've been calling their claim number for over a week and still no one has called back. If you wait for someone to pick up, make sure you're ready to wait for over an hour and a half just for them to not pick up and tell you to leave a message. I've called EVERY SINGLE DAY for 9 days leaving multiple messages. I don't know why I'm giving them money for insurance when they can't even do their job or call their customers back. This is the absolute worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They take your money and then they disappear. Worst company and people by far. What a joke of a company.

This is really strange, has never happened to me before. I decided to save money and looked for cheaper car insurance. Went online and applied to Sun Coast, was told I would be called. Never happened, I was the one that called twice. The reason that they could not help was it was TOO BUSY, too many calls? HUH? Another company called me, and told me the same thing...WHAT? So weird.
Suncoast to the rescue I called Fiesta I had to get my Sun Coast insurance card and she sent it by text and email I was happy to hear the gentleman said he could take it from the phone I car got towed this really help Me thank you

The first time I found this company - it was absolutely the best! More recently, I went to see about using them again and things weren't the same and pricing had changed quite a bit!! If you do want to call and get a quote though, definitely ask to work with Nancy, she was super helpful, wanted to give me the best quote she could and couldn't have been better!!!!!
horrible insurance company, I had an accident in November, I called them to put in the claim. They give me an adjuster and I've being trying to contact them ever since and they just send me to voicemail, I left them messages, they never reach out to me. The claim department is always busy. I never had any solution from them, they really are a horrible company! I'd rate them at zero stars if I could!

KEEP SHOPPING AROUND!! I wouldn't recommended this company to the birds. I had road side assistant which I canceled after they sent a guy with a chincy battery operated car charger that didn't even work. He said that all he had no jumper cables or nothing! He basically said your on your own and left. I had to ask my neighbor for a jump. My rates went up almost $30.00 in the 2 years I was with them. I shopped around and did my homework. Now I am with State Farm with more coverage and about $30.00 cheaper. I strongly recommend to shop around. I did and got a way better deal and now I'm a happy and satisfied customer.
They gave me what I need ,what I need is what I pay for, and the 10-day grace period on monthly payments is very helpful

They are West Coast & are open at 1030 AM MST. Not good 8f you lock your car at 530 am & need the tow service. Pricing seems really high.

The VERY worst insurance company! Their policy holder rear ended me on 11/8/22 on I-25. It took my 5 times calling to get to speak to a real person. They haven't been able to speak to their policy holder, she's dodging her responsibility. I have to go through my wonderful insurance company, All-State, to file a claim! Sun Coast is AWFUL!
Price is kind of high for state minimum, without uninsured motorist protection at least.

Avoid this insurance, they charge me 400 dollar for security deposite and constantly keep threatening me terminate my coverage. I had 3 weeks to mail in driving record. I wasnβt even inform that I need that before I stared their insurance.
I had to get request form sign in front of a notary, and mail it in to my old state so it would have taken me more than 3 weeks, but they didnβt care. When I contacted them, I had to be on the line a wait over 40 min to get told, they canβt do nothing for the dead line and because of the policy that they somehow fail to put in the contract, they going to terminate me.
They wonβt accept Amex, but they didnβt tell me either, waited until the payment got rejected to tell me I have to pay extra now because of late payment. Overall, this is a scam company. Avoid it, contacting them was no help at all. Poor customers service and their only interest is to make profit. If you need insurance get something else, this is a scam.
To exspensivve they quoted me almost twice as much than dairyland is.

But shockingly a insurance rep name Nancy called back and handled my insurance questions as well as get my new insurance policy as of that moment. That's pretty awesome that she was able to just got home and instead called me back and got me all hooked up and back on the road legally. Thanks for everything Nancy

If I could give it a zero I would, and that would be for one of their reps Ted, telling me I can't get a policy with my boyfriend because I'm not the registered owner of his car. We live in the same house, we drive each other's cars and have been told whoever is in the house has to be added on the policy as a driver or excluded.
Now I'm being told by someone that I have to get my own policy & my boyfriend has to get his own!?
I've worked in the Insurance company, seems like they need to fire their bad eggs or at least retrain them and maybe put them in a position where they don't have to talk to people.

The worst insurance Iβve ever heard about. Weβve been with them for about 5 years, and itβs been ok until we actually needed them after my husband got in a car accident. First of all, they didnβt even answer the phone on the day of the accident. We were able to make the claim the next day. It took them a full week to get our car appraised at the sight of the accident. But the appraisal guy, needed the mileage. So we went, got the mileage and found 2 parking tickets! Then the day after, they told us our car is totaled. One week after the accident they said they were FINALLY going to tow the car that day, because now they know itβs going to a scrap yard. Here we are, 11 days after the accident, and they call us to ask where is the car. Excuse me?!?! They said they were towing it 4 days ago. So now a third party is calling to see where the car has been impounded. Accidents are always stressful, but it helps if your insurance is actually competent. Iβm so disappointed, Iβve never seen a company drop the ball so hard. Looking for a new insurance ASAP, I donβt even care if I spend more money, as long as they have at least 2 brain cells, weβre good.

If I could give no star that would be a better rate! Always gave me problems with my payment. I set up automatic payment still problems and had to pay late fees. We finally get to tge end of the policy period. Now they have no problem getting into my account! I called them they denied it!! Gave me the run around!! For the most part, they are friendly. And they are working with me because I had a medical issue so I missed work for 2 weeks. The reason behind the 3 star review is I just don't think I'm getting the best price and they are kinda difficult to get a hold of.
They really didnβt care to put effort on my claim they honestly ruined my life made everything harder on me and they were rude about me being at fault and I would call my adjuster and it was always straight to voicemail no callbacks

First time having car insurance ever. My 6 month policy got automatically renewed, i called to cancel right away. They told me to send an email to cancel with my name and policy number, and thatβs it. I called a few weeks later asking about my refund, they told me they sent a check....to my old address. I thought the refund wouldβve gone to my bank account the same way Iβve been paying them. If it was going to be through mail i really wish they wouldβve explained that when i was canceling my policy, and that Iβm only partially getting. Itβll cost $25 for them to void that check, so in the end it cost me. Poor customer service
