It can be an agonizing decision to switch insurance agents. The trick is finding an agent better than the one you had. In my case, switching agents was a very positive experience.

Without getting into specific details, I was with my previous agent for decades. Many years ago, I was involved in an incident and, as I had questions, my agent would not even speak to me. Reading reviews on other agents, I found out this is quite common. I thought this is why you need an agent, to help you when you need help. Even State Farm told me I should be calling my agent with the questions I had.

Fortunately, after switching agents, I am not getting that experience from Gabriella's office. Quite the contrary. I have dealt with various team members of Gariella's including Gabriella, Michael, Pepper and Erika. I found that all of them act professionally and treat you like a valued client. As I have been with them for quite some time now, I can say through experience, they were there to help me work through another incident shortly after I became a client.

We live in what has now been designated a wildfire risk area. Our insurance canceled us last year, after the (proactive) evacuation we experienced in 2020. The only insurance we could find last year nearly tripled our cost - from approx $2000 to $5600. This year, I told myself I must shop around for pricing, even if it brought me back to the same place - I didn't have high hopes of improving our cost. I looked on Next Door for referrals, and the first call I made was to State Farm here in Morgan Hill. Veronica helped me over the phone, taking great pains to get correct all the details of our home's dimensions and features. Then we sat down with Veronica and Gabriela a couple of days later, and were thrilled with both the numbers presented and the personalized attention. We would have been able to get back to our pricing of two years ago, but we ended up also covering both cars AND adding an umbrella policy for 5 million dollars, and still ended up $1k under what the bill would have been this year for the house alone.
