I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this one is years in the making. I got my Allstate policies (home, auto and umbrella) with the Brook Daley agency in town in 2018 or earlier when another carrier pulled out of CA. At first, they were super responsive and helpful, but since 2020, it has gone downhill. I purchased a new home in 2020 in El Cajon. The delay in creating a new homeowners policy almost held up my closing. Since that time, every change to my auto policy has been met with dread. While there is a long list of things to mention, the most recent is that I placed a milage update to my policy in early April that has still not been processed ($400/yr savings). I have been advised it is in process, but does it really take over 2 months to complete? It also took 10 days to get a quote on a new car (after 3 emails and 2 phone calls). It has now been 12 days since the new car was purchased (and 3 emails) and it is still not covered. I called last Friday to speak with Brook Daly directly. I was advised he does not take customer calls. I demanded a call, but have not heard from him. I spend over $10,000/annually for my policies and expect that thing will be handled timely and correctly. I also expect that the Agent in charge is available for issues and to speak with customers at their request. Save yourself the hassle and use another Allstate agency if you want their coverage. I just switched to an agent in El Cajon since it is obvious my business is not valued here.
Let's face it, fire insurance in California is very expensive. While Allstate's rates are competitive with other companies, it leaves a lot of the determination to the type of service that one receives from their insurance company. That is the difference that I can share about Brook Daly Allstate Insurance. I have been with them for 19 years. It means a lot to me when I know that whatever questions of issues I may have (about the policy 😉) I can call the office and get one of the staff that live and work in our community. I always get honest answers, even when it may not be what I was hoping for. Finally, the office staff has supported me and my best interests to fullest extent that they are able to do within law/regulations/ethics. This may be a bit saccharine, but they really have taken care of me.
This is the best insurance agency that I have ever dealt with, I'm just around the corner of 58 and been driving for a few miles... and have been up and down the insurance ladder (rung up, lol) But I have been with Brook Daly Allstate insurance for a couple years and love this establishment. The ladies working onsite (rare enough, real people) are amazing and go the extra mile (just what they do) to make sure you have your insurance needs covered properly! Thank you Rose, you're awesome!!!

So far I am very happy with Allstate here in Ramona. I appreciate the ease of being able to set up a policy online as I am very busy. So far, the interaction with the staff have been pleasant and they have been very helpful. I have already recommended Allstate to several people since I have started this policy and intend to stay here for long term as well.
Our old agent in a different town, did nothing compared to all the help they have given us. Saving money has been on top of the list. They respond very fast to all our questions. I highly recommend.
