Sunset Educators Insurance Services has saved us from having to obtain insurance from a very expensive homeowners pool that California has established to provide homeowners insurance for us unfortunate individuals who have been rejected by the big worldwide insurance companies. We had insurance from the same provider for over 20 years until we were deemed too much of a fire risk by Hartford. We were able to get insured thru Kemper for two years before being dropped by them. Our actual wildfire rating is very low (2) by the traditional standards but this was not good enough for the big guys. Sunset came to our rescue. this company has great very personable agents who are truly willing to go thru their different policies and explain which would be best for your specific circumstances. We highly recommend them.

After our Homeowner's Insurance policy premium doubled for the 3rd year in a row - without a single claim in 30 years of home ownership, and not so much as a squeak from our "agent", we decided to see what else was out there. Because we live in a high fire risk area, it turned out that keeping our current company was the best plan, but Jessica gave us advice that saved $600 when we called the insurer direct. Because of her industry knowledge, and exemplary customer service, we switched both our Earthquake and Auto policies in the weeks following. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Fast forward some years later and I reached out again when I needed a quote for homeowners insurance. Jessica jumped in and came up with various quotes and options, all at lower rates than the various other companies. She explained everything to me in a way that I understood and was super quick with all her responses and information. I am so grateful to be working with friendly and knowledgeable people. I started with loans, graduating to insurance (homeowners and soon auto too!) and will return when I’m ready to open some retirement accounts.
