Went to my local AAA office here in Whittier, California for travel quotes. Met with travel agent Hector Arias. We sat with him for about an hour. He wrote down our traveling dates, destinations we were considering, and our budget. He said he would search and get back to us with price quotes from the different destinations in a few days. Never heard from him again. I was really surprised/ disappointed with Hector. Is this the world class AAA brags about? It’s horrible service.

Donna, is a great supervisor! I had a minor issue but she resolved it very quickly, effectively, professionally and very knowledgeable. Also, thanks to the employees whom were very professional as well. Thanks for being patient with me.

Guess im a little pissed when writing this, but wen in to renew registration,they would not take my debit card w visa logo, they need cash or an actual credit card. So had to leave after waiting in line and come back n wait again

This review is for the AAA membership. Most people get the membership for the emergency roadside assistance specifically towing and AAA is very aggressive in selling their membership. I’ve been a member for about four years and I’ve used to service twice for simple job such as jump start and flat tire change. Today for the first time I requested a long distance tow. Not sure what the policy is with their contractor tow companies but I waited over 2 1/2 hours because the assigned station did not have a long-distance driver which I think is not true. What I believe is their contracted price with AAA doesn’t pay them enough so it’s not worth it for contractors to take a long distance tow if there are other jobs available where they make more money. So for AAA to sell such a service and does not have contractors are willing to take the job in a timely manner is a poor standard in their membership. I’ve waited almost 4 hours which, for my time is much more than the membership that I paid. Luckily this it wasn’t an emergency situation. AAA really needs to reassess their long distance, towing service and the contracted amount with the local tow yards.

Professional, courteous , answered all my questions in a satisfactory manner.

Writing this review in regards to our experience calling the AAA Whittier Insurance & Member services on Saturday 12/9/23 at 11:50am. My girlfriend was placed on hold for 30+ minutes after requesting a declaration of her policy.

After feeling that she was left forgotten on hold, my girlfriend called the office from a separate phone number. Her call was picked up my a woman in Sales, who did not state her name. The woman stated that they are typically busy on Saturdays, which is completely understandable. My gf then asked for this woman’s name, and her exact response was “I already gave it to you, so it’s not my fault if you didn’t hear it the first time”, and then hung up the phone! In disbelief, we decided that we should go to the branch office in person because clearly this woman does not care about her job or providing any level of customer service to clients.

We will be writing to corporate about this incident and switching providers for our entire family as a result of this appalling experience.

Is this DMV or AAA.? Lines and waiting time in the back section for DMV services was ridiculous 🙄!!
Only 2 people and we'll over 20 people waiting.

Gave me plates all seems good..Just got a letter yesterday from them saying I need a title history report to get my CA title. Went to dmv and they said there is no reason. Thanks for wasting 2 weeks of me getting my title.

Very helpful staff. Not enough serving the DMV clients in the back. Waited way too long to get called up to get service.

Overall they offer so many great services. Insurance, DMV services, Vacation services, etc.

Good customer service and good insurance but if you're going to renew your tags there have cash or a major credit card on you.

Inquired about renewing my triple a insurance and I told the male representative I don’t want to pay $4,000 for the year and he hung up. Going elsewhere, problem solved.

Was there yesterday. Professional, courteous and quick service. One note, not sure what office culture is there or if it was casual day, but maybe they could benefit from a dress code or possibly team wear. A uniform shirt or polo, even a team jacket something comfortable but professional looking because everyone looked like they were just running errands or going to a grocery store. Some a little disheveled some with bed head. It gives a bad impression of a very on point professional competent staff

Dmv did not send my registration card, either because it was lost or never sent out. Therefore, I drove to the AAA store, before I knew it, I was in and out in 5 minutes!
Documents were processed, the person who helped me, (also had some cool tattoos) asked me if I needed my registration card. When everything was completed, I received my card, and I was on my way… Very satisfied, thank you for the help! Will definitely be back in the future to process my dmv paperwork.

Called AAA because I had questions about renewing drivers license and also in regards to applying for a real ID and the recorded message said to go to their website for more accurate information. Went to website where it said they did provide the services, real ID required starting application process online. Decided to proceed with regular renewal going into local branch. Well obviously online information not the most accurate information as they told me at branch they are no longer doing drivers license renewals or real IDs, wasted time and a trip for nothing. Thanks AAA. They should update their information online or pick up the phone at branch.

Everyone I've been in contact with here has been so helpful and nice!! The check in process was a little confusing. It was my first time here and since both check-in employees were busy when I walked in, I didn't know where to go, but once I figured it out everything was smooth from there. I went there to renew my placard for another 6 Mos. Usually everybody is super friendly, not this time, this gentleman helped me in the past, not friendly at all, not polite at all. I have been a member for 42years, very discouraged of this person still working there. By the way, that place looks like a toy store, too much stuff hanging on the walls of the cubicles.

Have been on hold for 45 mins now....no check back to see if i'm still on the line.

Seems a little disorganized, even on a weekday everything seems to take forever. Forget going on a weekend unless you have all day to wait. Other Auto Club offices seem to take much less time and much less drama. We have had issues with travel, insurance, and DMV, all relating to that office. Unfortunately it is only about 5 blocks from our house; so we always give it one more chance.

It's great to be somewhat back to normal, in person service is very friendly, helpful and efficient!

Always helpful. Everyone remember if you ever call for roadside YOU GET TO CHOSE WHO COMES OUT TO YOU. If there is a particular towing company you’re not happy with you can ask them to send another one out.

If you are going to have customers wait outside during extreme heat, can you please place an ez up to provide shade. Customers are wearing masks so what is still the issue? Provide sanitizer at the entrance and bring in a temperature check machine but consider what you're doing to your CUSTOMERS especially the elderly when you demand they stay outside!

On the first Monday of the month and only 2 people working the DMV lines (non-registration). Two middle aged women who really really belong at the real DMV based on their attitude and speed of service 😒

They're finally allowed to accept card paymts on DMV servs, but there's an extra fee of 2.3 or 2.5%. Reasonable, but better to have cash. Pleasant experience. I'll be back. 😁👍👍

Very professional And friendly. They kept me informed through out the whole process from start to finish and the quality of workmanship far exceeded my expectations... i would highly recommend this body shop.

They practice social distancing, the line wasn't to long. They call you in one by one. I had 3 car registrations due, was in and out within 15-20mins. They take cash, check and credit card. No debit card with a visa or mastercard. Must be a credit card and you will be charged a 2.3% surcharge.
