I used Wind Rose Insurance Agency for a home owners policy when I was going through escrow. We ended up not getting the home. I realized after a few months that I was still paying monthly for the policy that I no longer needed. I called to cancel the policy and told them that my escrow fell through. The lady helping me told me that they would cancel the policy for me if I signed a cancellation request and submit it which I did, and she said she would stop payment on my automatic debit for me to make sure my payments stopped coming out. Little did I know because of this, they sent my account to a collections agency without ever once receiving any type of notification in the mail, a phone call, text, or email correspondence that would happen. I was shocked when months later I received a text notification from a collections agency stating I owe $120.
I called Wind Rose to get an idea why this happened and I was told by a different person it was because I didn't submit some declaration form that I had no idea I needed to do and they never informed me about. Their excuse was they had my old address on file. Apparently they have never heard of a phone or email to try contacting me.
I WOULD CAUTION ANYONE FROM USING THEM if you have any type of change in insurance status just know you might end up unlucky like me.

We switched to Wind Rose Insurance almost a year ago. They managed to save us over $1200 a year and the customer service is outstanding. I can call, text or email Corey or Lucia and get a response in a timely manner. It’s nice to be able to have a personal touch when it comes to customer service and not wait on the phone with an automated response. Switching to Wind Rose was the best decision we made!
