I have been a customer of Paul Murphy Insurance for over 20 years; they handle all my property and vehicle insurance needs; my family currently has 6 vehicles and 3 properties that they oversee for us. Jimmy and Du are the most responsive customer service people I have ever dealt with...each of them has gone out of their way to assist me whether it be staying late to meet me to go over an issue or dealing with a claim. The services they provide with regards to registry and plates are so helpful and time saving for us. We also recently built a modular home in Peabody for my son and had to deal with getting a Builder's Risk Policy during the construction loan portion of the project they were so knowledge in all aspects of same I didn't worry as I knew they would handle everything and they advised me throughout the project. Not only do they offer their services during regular hours; I have had a few emergency situations when I needed guidance and I must say they took the time to call me on weekends and at night to make sure I was all set. While they argued and threatened to refund my money because they didn’t want to do their job and fill out the correct forms. Greg went above and beyond to take charge and do their job for them. Greg is the best and is the epitome of a top tier employee.

My experience with Paul Murphy Insurance has been quite frustrating, especially when it comes to customer service and communication. The company's management could benefit from fostering a more approachable and service-focused culture. Specifically, I've encountered challenges when dealing with Stephanie Rubin and James Beaulieu, who often require significant follow-up. Simple requests have gone unanswered for weeks or even months, and when I’ve reached out with questions, they have been slow to manage expectations or respond in a timely manner.

Additionally, there is a lack of clarity regarding when to contact Paul Murphy versus the actual insurance company. On several occasions, I've been caught in a frustrating loop, being bounced between Paul Murphy and my insurance carrier, each directing me to the other for assistance. In one instance, I repeatedly asked Stephanie to help me add myself as an authorized party on my insurance policy, but she continuously redirected me to the carrier, who in turn referred me back to her. While the carrier was polite, Stephanie’s attitude became dismissive and snarky when asked for further assistance.

To make matters worse, after finally addressing my request, she had the audacity to ask me for a positive Google review for simply doing what was required after a prolonged delay. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with this agency.

You have been my insurance agent for the past 15 years and resolve any issues quickly and easily. I have always had great experiences with all, but with Greg P and Brian B in particular. Most unprofessional agency I have ever dealt with. I contacted the agency in regards to filing a third party claim as I did not have the claimants insurance company information. I spoke with the owner on two separate occasions who told me, several times, he was doing me a favor just by speaking with me. I realize he is going to side with his client but that does not give him the right to be condescending and verbally attack me. In addition, extremely UNPROFESSIONAL for the owner to repeatedly demand the name of my supervisor when the incident at hand had nothing to do with my employer or my job.

I have been a client for about 30 years. They have always helped me when I needed it, going above and beyond at times. One Christmas my windshield broke when I was out of state and I couldn’t find anyone to fix it. I was going to give up and drive back with it broken, but Paul’s staff made calls and got someone to fix it the same day. That is a caring partnership!

Have dealt with many agents and insurance companies personally and professionally and Paul Murphy Ins ranks at the top. They always come through when there is an issue even when insurance companies give push back. They give great advise on what to do on with a claim. They always look out for the customer and whats best for them.

Paul T. Murphy is the best! They bundled all of our insurance needs and got us the best rates possible. Other insurance companies call me and try to sell me their products and when I tell them my rates with Murphy, they can't believe the rate and can't even come close to matching the rate.
