I have never had an issue with State Farm until my experience with Bob Piatek's office.

I moved to Texas at the end of May and set up a new policy with an office down here on June 7th. Bob has ignored cancellation requests from me AND the State Farm office in Texas, and this has resulted in double coverage and charges that I can't afford. Bob has FOUR assistants in his office for a VERY small island community in Upstate New York. There is no excuse to not answer or respond to calls or emails.

It seems other reviewers have had similar issues, leading me to question if this is an established pattern for this location to scam people out of money hoping they don't notice the bank charges. Conveniently, you cannot cancel autopay online or in the app OR through another agent, and must call Bob's office to do so. If only they'd pick up! I've lodged a complaint with State Farm corporate and had to initiate a stop payment with my bank to protect my finances.

I just dealt with Zach over the phone and it was the easiest, smoothest, and fastest vehicle transition I've ever done. And as a dealer, I've done over a thousand of these.

I've been with Bob Piatek probably approaching 30 years now.
State Farm has my auto, life and homeowners' policies.
In the last year, I started an electrical contracting business, which has been challenging to say the least. Piateks' office manager, Ella Abate, has taken at least one huge burden off my shoulders, by very professionally handling my new insurance needs. Shallina has been most helpful agent. Just today my car stopped suddenly. I was scared and thinking about how I would get it to repair shop plus get to work. I called Shallina directly - at 7:30 this morning.. She answered! I thought I would get some automated system that I would fumble through. Instead I heard Shallina's friendly voice at the other end. She assured me that my policy had roadside assistance and she got the information of my policy right away. From there , I had a tow truck coming within an hour. Their was a small mix up with corporate trying to get a antiqued classical car policy. They handled GREAT even helped me get the pictures and what they needed to get back to coporate! This may not be thd biggest state farm building with a ton of employees. But they are certainly the A team of state farm insurance agencies. Love em! Hope zach Ella and everyone else who helped me so much sees this! Keep doing it just how you are because its 5stars all the way.
