Customer service is something that John Geiselmen must have read about in school, but never cared enough to take the time to learn what it actually means.

January 2025, I get an email for my business, the header was fine, but the attachments were for another company who's policy was expiring...... so I called him to let him know that he'd sent it in error and the other company would like to get the information.

John is too busy to return the call or even check his data because today I get an email letting me know that it's actually my policy that has an issue.

The coward couldn't even be bothered to call me back until he figured out that I was on the main phone line taking care of the issue.

I've only been a customer for 19 years, so it's not like I'm important.

Just plain disgusting. The funny part is that when he left a message, he didn't even have the stones to admit his mistake.
It was a "misunderstanding".

Take my money, enjoy my commission in your paycheck, but don't even bother returning a phone call.

Do NOT use this company. I am part of Sanford Rose Associates (SRA) and was recommend to use them for all my business insurance. I had a potential client ask for Employees Liability Insurance. There was confusion with this firm about this as the state of Ohio is a Monopolistic State, meaning they do not offer Employees Liability Insurance, you have to get Stop Gap Coverage. I did not know this until I got on this conference call with this potential client. But this firms representative REFUSED to get on the call where she kept saying it had nothing to do with insurance, but workers comp. Turns out she just didn't want to get on the call. As when I got on the call, the potential client said it has nothing to do with Workers Comp, but I needed Employees Liability Insurance. I made this clear in MULTIPLE emails to this representative and she kept refusing to get on the call to talk about insurance and they are an insurance broker. I have all the emails to show this. But for them to not even know that 4 states require Stop Gap Coverage since they don't offer Employees Liability Insurance also tells me they should not be a Nationwide Broker as they couldn't even tell me that. But I am giving this review not because of that, but because they REFUSED, after at least 5 emails explaining the call had nothing to do with Workers Comp, to be on a conference call that had to do with insurance. They currently are brokers for all my business insurance and of course that will be changing.

The staff has always been helpful and accommodating.
