I have multiple problems with FHIA...

1. If your policy cancels they will not notify you. They will not take responsibility for lack of communication. According to NYS's website, an agency is responsible for all communication through the insurance provider...

2. They do not care about their insureds, they care about the sale to make commission.

3. They will provide you with the cheapest rate and the worst coverage possible.

4. They will not explain to you how your policy is without you asking specific questions (and if you don't have insurance experience... Good luck filing a claim when you actually need the coverage)

DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE!

THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

In my humble and honest opinion, Mr. Brandon Blood is the best person I ever met in insurance business he took care of all of my problems and issues with laughter and grace. I pray that others bump into him along their way. I have two vehicles insured through first Heritage. I would only go to first Heritage with many more God willing commercial and personal insurance.

I have been searching for limited liability insurance for quite a while now and the only quotes I could find for my business were upwards of $1,000. I was ready to give up until I spoke with Marie Alfieri from First Heritage. I don't' recall the last time I spoke with a customer service rep who was so motivated to help me! She was friendly and easy going. Initially she could only find a quote that wasn't in my budget. I hung up disappointed. A few minutes later she called me back- she had done more research and found a policy for 1/10th of the cost! She processed it immediately and I thought we were good to go. Unfortunately, on of my providers needed super specific details added to the policy. After every change was made they would email me with another requirement. Throughout this process Marie was patient and understanding and even though it was a supreme annoyance- got everything done in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

I've been looking for a general liability insurance policy for my nonprofit organization for over 2 weeks. I was being bounced around from different carriers, looking to get a quote, several carriers weren't returning emails. Until Marie from First Heritage Insurance Agency called me and was able to get me a quote, collect payment and make an endorsement to the policy all within minutes. She is extremely professional and I'm looking forward with working with her and First Heritage Insurance Agency going forward. Thanks Marie!

My insurance is higher then its ever been with them

Got dropped by my insurance company and had to search for new insurance. I had the pleasure of dealing with Tiffany. She helped me beyond expectations and even after hours since my insurance was expiring that same day and I didn't want a lapse in coverage. She quoted me $5,000 cheaper than my previous broker for the same insurance who I was with for many years and with multiple insurances. Thank you so much.

Brandon is not just a great insurance broker, he is a great person. he really saved the day for me. He got me insurance that was $400 less a month than the quote I was able to receive. WHOA!! where do I start? I literally ran my info through an online quote search engine and out of about 50 phone calls somehow this company got me on the phone. I was already having a bad life and Brandon (my new spirit animal) literally made my entire day brighter. He talked to me like I was human and never degraded me or dismissed me after I told him about a recent car accident. He was genuine, fair, and very helpful! He related to me and listened. He went above and beyond to find me a solution and instantly built trust in the short time I was on the phone with him.

The level of customer service is phenominal and they got me a good rate even after a recent accident. Im excited to work with first heritage and Im grateful for FINALLY being spoken to like my existence is worthy (very important given how low I was feeling when I first got on the call) despite my recent interactions with other insurance companies.

I have had first heritage for over 2 1/2 years. They were recommended to me when I was purchasing my house & I can not express enough to anyone anywhere how incredible they are. They are so friendly, so helpful and always there to answer or help with any questions or concerns. They constantly reach out to me if there is an issue or change to any of my policies as well as always research to make sure I have the best coverage at the competitive rate. The agent I spoke to was very knowledgeable and kind. She was very helpful (without trying to sell me anything) and she did not make me feel unintelligent for my lack of knowledge pertaining to car insurance. Honestly, the customer service was half the reason I decided switch insurance companies (they price difference being the other half of my reason.) Most pleasant insurance experience to date.

I had the best experience with Gene Faucella over at First Heritage. He was very accommodating and worked really fast to get my homeowners insurance coverage within a day. I would highly recommend!

Tiffany, the customer service representative I worked with, was absolutely phenomenal!! The old adage says "go the extra mile". Well Tiffany went "two miles" to help me!! She did much more than her job requires her to do in order to fight for me in my situation. I just had a total loss accident and my insurance company never told me about getting a Carco photo inspection. Therefore my insurance was set to expire in a matter of days. Tiffany was cordial and understanding and took action to get me the help I needed. Thanks Tiffany!!

I called First Heritage Insurance Agency, Rudy DeLarosa answered the phone. He was very kind and easy to talk to. I was in a rush to get homeowners insurance because of the mortgage broker. Rudy was very patient and kind and gave me the best possible quote all the while being very cheerful and friendly. he really put me at ease with everything. and I got my insurance binder done and paid for in less than 20 min. and that would have been shorter if I did not have to call the mortgage company. Rudy is a really great guy. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

TOO EXPENSIVE BUT HOPING FOR CHEAPER QUOTES

Frank Krill is outstanding.

After my car was totaled so many bureaucrats and agencies from the SCPD to two tow companies, a salvage yard, and of course the DMV were useless. One hand didn't seem to know what the other was doing, and they all blamed their fumbling on the pandemic.

Frank was not only knowledgeable and helpful but really patient and a truly prompt and effective communicator.

Gene of Heritage insurance was the best most knowledgeable friendly insurance agent I have ever done business with. He is very efficient in customer service and does not waste your time with needless questions

Was talking to a Frank, who told me one thing which was a 5 dollar difference only to get a call back from an Erik with a 40 dollar difference. My time was wasted and the lack of communication between agents was horrific to say the least.

Total scam and unprofessional staff. If you need a good and affordable auto insurance, do not ever go to this place. I ended up paying twice as my previous auto insurance and I was not aware about it, I got to know that when I saw my bank statement. After that I tried to talk with them many times and all the time they passed the ball saying, the office closed, we called but I didn't answer, your agent is not at the office, we'll get back to you, these kind of irrelevant ignorance. Then I realized they are going to do this all the way down. I lost my money and they ripped me off so I quickly changed my auto insurance. First they give you false information to get your attention, they they start cheating you. Be aware

Largely made possible by the representative at First Heritage who assisted me through the process. He spoke in layman's terms. He didn't bombard me with jargon native to his industry. I generally appreciate any professional who can speak plainly and clearly articulate complex matters to an audience who may not know the subject matter. Additionally he gave me the time and space to make decisions than trying to sign me up on something I wasn't ready for.
