In regards to the owner of this company's response to my previous review, I greatly appreciate you promptly getting back to me this time. I find quite unfortunate that it took a 1 star review to elicit a reaction from your Famer's branch. I am confused on certain things you stated and would like to correct certain fallacies claimed.
1. You claimed that you checked the service logs of your other six employees and your office manager, in addition to the phone logs regarding my situation and that the google review was the first you heard of this "escalation." I am confused on how this is possible when I explained to your associate my current insurance situation and how critical it was to me getting insurance put back onto my vehicle. As a certified insurance agent in both the states of Oklahoma and Texas, you know that vehicular insurance is required for any motor vehicle on the road. I explained this to Victoria so she was well aware of that fact and urgency so how you were unaware of it after checking with your agents, your office manager and the phone logs, I am quite confused. How can that information simply not exist in your system when she was creating a quote for me. In fact, during one of our phone conversations she stated to me that Progressive would be the best choice of insurance given certain personal information. So if she had in fact began the policy, how were you not able to find it over the course of two days.
2. In your response you state "in your years of customer service, you understand that anything from a digital glitch to an employee oversight can happen, and management teams are there to help resolve matters without creating personal crises for the clients." I received no phones from you as the manager or your office manager or your other six employees regarding the quote Victoria had started for me so please elaborate on how your management team helped resolve my matter and prevented me from having a personal crisis when it flat out did not. A personal crisis is exactly what occurred because your lack of initiation regarding my auto insurance.
3. Being I have worked customer service almost my entire adult life, your response to my google review was highly unprofessional and. Any respectable business owner who receives a negative review on any website would ask the person to contact them personally at a number and discuss the matter with them. They would not put the reviewers personal information online for anyone to see not only out of respect but also from a legal standpoint. I also find it insulting you claimed that I had a "history" of "at fault claims" when in fact the only claim I have had against me was the one that occurred in Dallas and as I said to Victoria, the proof showing I was not at fault could not be emailed so I would need to come in person to provide that documentation. Implying I have had multiple at claims faults is not only wrong, it is a downright lie.
4. If Victoria did have a family emergency and was out of the office on Thursday afternoon and Friday, why was an auto response email not set up during that time frame informing individuals she was out of the office. Any business that I know and have dealt with, when the associate is gone, an automated email is created during their absence, giving a short description as to why they are out of the office, when they will return and who they should contact in event of an emergency, which in my case it very much was. I was needing automobile insurance and for two days, you and your entire team failed to email me, call me, text me, no contact was attempted until Monday morning when Victoria emailed me and then I received your response to my review.
In the end, I was able to get automobile insurance through another company who were available twenty hours a day, seven days a week.
I was needing to get insurance put onto my vehicle and so I contacted this location and spoke with Victoria Garibay. At first she was extremely helpful and I was hopeful that I would be able to get my auto insurance problem rectified that day. I was given a call back by Ms. Garibay and sent an email from her asking me to upload some documents required. I responded to her email, explaining I was unable to screenshot the documents due to security measures and asked if I could come in person to provide the documentation. I never received a call back, no email response, nothing. Having worked customer service almost my entire adult life, I have to say this is one of the worst, if not the worst experience I have experienced. I was needing insurance on my vehicle, was told by Ms Garibay that it would not be a problem, and then she just cut communication with me. Extremely unprofessional and beyond disappointing. You are required by law to have insurance on your vehicles that you will drive so the fact that I was completely blown off and never even got an email or a phone call is dumbfounding to me. I will never recommend this branch or company to anyone based on the experience I had with you associate.
DeDe and Angela were prompt and assisted my family in getting the best rates for my elderly mothers property. Angela was able to find rates for much less monthly and yearly cost than any other agent I have spoken to in the past year. Thank you! ~ Carrie
Very friendly environment! Initially met Angela and her staff for business networking. I also needed business insurance at the time and, had a very difficult time getting reasonable prices. Jenny the commercial insurance EXPERT ! Was able to provide me great quotes within days. The staff here are very informative and, willing to go beyond what you ask to ensure you’re satisfied.
Customer service is great. If my agent is not available someone in the office helps out.
Service Initiation
My partner and I acquired our small business insurance policy from this farmers agency after meeting the owner at a community event. We were insured by this agency from November 25, 2022 to August 9th, 2023. The owner had her employee sent out a quote and shortly after we had coverage for our photography business. It was really surprising how easy it was to receive coverage. I didn't have to go through a third party and one of the employees took care of everything.
Customer Service
While my partner and I were clients, we had private conversations with the OWNER and her employee. These conversations were then later weaponized and used to discriminate against me. The owner and her employee violated client privacy. The owner and employee have shown several forms of unprofessionalism. Nothing shared with them is kept confidential amongst the owner and her employee via ongoing group chats.
While being their client, the owner sent facebook messages to my private facebook account, late one night. This included several accusations from the owner geared towards me all based on a philosophical lifestyle my partner and I choose to live by. This was discrimination of lifestyle, harassment, and overall the highest form of unprofessionalism from this insurance agency OWNER and her employee. The harassment continued for weeks when the owner and her employee reached out with a discriminatory accusations to my place of employment and asked I be removed due to my philosophical views.
The Environment
The farmers insurance office isn't welcoming. I stopped by one day to ask a couple of questions and the office was empty. It took about 5 minutes before anyone noticed I was there. The office has an open floor plan so I found it surprising it took so long to be welcomed and helped. The owner splits her time up between different offices in Lawton and other nearby towns. This definitely shows within their establishment through delayed responses and inaction with account updates.
Service Cancelation
Once the Owner and her employee showed the levels of unprofessionalism, we decided to cancel our service. The employee then redirected us to cancel the service ourselves by calling a generic hiscox customer service number. We were helped out by the hiscox customer service and were able to cancel our services thanks to them, they even issued a refund for 1.5 month of our payments.
If you are looking for small business insurance coverage definitely go to the source by contacting hiscox directly cause this insurance agency is quick to sign you up for a service, take your money, but unwilling to be helpful when cutting ties with them.
Noone with this level if disregard for clients should be working with the public.
Whenever I've had questions, no matter how late, I've always been able to reach someone at Angela's office. She truly cares about her clients and sees them as friends. Sounds cliché, but it is the truth. I switched over to Farmer's from USAA. Not because USAA was bad, but because Angela made me feel like I had someone in my corner not just someone out to make the highest profit for the company.
