I went here today to have my photo taken for my driver’s license and the lady who took my photo was so nice. She made me laugh so hard, which I really needed today. My first picture was hilarious, so we did a retake. We couldn’t stop laughing and talked about Mama’s Family and Carol Burnette since I brought up an episode on Mama’s Family where Mama was at the DMV and had a silly picture taken just like me. 🤣 I highly recommend this place.

This office is SO much easier than going to dmv locations. I went there with a camera card to get new ID, I stayed maybe 5-6 minutes and was done with it. The staff is quick and pleasant.

This is where I go to get my DL photo taken. They have a nice camera with a flash that makes all the difference. My first ever driver's license photo was taken at the Airport Rd PennDOT and they didn't use a flash and even worse, stuck me under hideous fluorescent lighting. I looked like a crackhead on my license for 4 years, so I'm very thankful for this location and their good equipment.

You close at 430 on Saturday's. If I show up at 410 don't tell me we closing in a nasty way becuase you have 20 mins so pleas3 just do your job and take my photo that I now have for the next for years cuz I had my evil eyes on from being disrespected. And it was over 60 bucks. That's crazy. And I had to wait 15 days becuae it was a real ID. not just a regular dl. The place stinks like 1970

I live in Lehighton and our local Dmv is a joke with very limited hours. I drove 45 min to renew my license here and was done in about 10 min.
The clowns responsible for running our state dmvs should study how this place operates!

Just needed a form notarized to give permission for traveling minor. Came to the desk and gave the document to woman. I told her I just needed a stamp; handed her my passport for verification. She stared at the form and started shaking her head side to side. She said there's no place to put a stamp on the paper. (On the bottom, there was enough space to park a school bus but also, there was a directive "notarize here").
I suppose she was hired because she was bilingual, nothing more.
I gathered my documents and exited. I drove a little up the road, on Hamilton; had the paper notarized and was out the door in less than 10 minutes.
I'm sure there are qualified people who work here who know more than just speaking Spanish. But I won't be back. The parking and trying to dodge speeding cars in that small lot is enough to keep me away.

Regarding Services for getting a replacement Personalized Plate. Provided wrong information and almost costed me my personalized vanity plate. Rep was wrong about the services applicable for my situation.

I have a vanity plate from years ago that was $25 before they increased the price to almost $200 or whatever it is these days. I've had it about 10 years and it started to peel. Read online that I should be able to get a new one issued. But when I went here and explained my situation they started filling out the info for a lost or stolen plate and tried to tell me that I needed to apply for a new plate and that I wasn't going to be about to get the same plate I had before.

This was hard to believe since I still physically had the plate and it was just damaged. I ended up leaving and doing more research. Tried the Yurconic in Northampton and had a very knowledgeable rep that was able to fill out the right paperwork and it costed about $30 (I think) 2 months later I have my new license plate!

Please train the agents on this. Because even when I went to Northampton I ended up having to 'argue a bit with another rep that was going to handle my situation the same as Allentown. I was able to ask for the woman I spoke to over the phone and she took the time to explain the process to the lady that swore she was right and I was wrong.

I'm just so happy to have called around. Saved me $200 and allowed me to keep my Vanity plate.

Went and got title work done today and could not get a tag at the time. Was told by the lady working that I could get a tag later on at any notary with the papers she gave me. Tried to get a tag from 2 notaries and she didn’t give me the proper paperwork so now I’m out of a vehicle until the title comes from pen dot. Do not recommend.

The Yurconic Agency has been the only insurance agent that I've been totally pleased with. That is due in no small way to the incredibly attentive and professional diligence of Jose Garcia. As we often do, Jose and I were reviewing my auto and umbrella policies. Jose was back to me the same day and informed me that I could make a change which would save me over $600 per year. He made my day and I'm telling everyone in my retired circle to do a review with Jose.

The staff and faculty dealt with my insane small situation extraordinarily, they assisted me in the renewal process of my car and tags which helped me save lots of money from potential tickets and vehicle Impounding if not renewed. The process was long and grueling and I had almost lost hope the I wasn’t going to be renewed in time due to my papers not being mailed quickly but it did and for a great price, I updated my paper work. I was so happy when I came in to this place at first. They had a nice welcome and very fast line that's way very much better than going to the DMV. I recently moved to PA from NJ and I wanted to transfer my title and registration and everything. They really took good care of me and had me pay about $300. I am fine with paying more than going to the DMV. However, it has been 6 weeks so far and I have not received my title nor new plates yet. When I called "Donna" she put me on hold for 20 minutes. I called back, she answered and said we are too busy, it is a rush hour "Without being sorry at all". I asked her about my issue she said that I can't help you right now you need to be here physically. So, I went there in about 5 minutes (I live super close). I was very surprised that there were only one guy sitting in the chair being served and another guy waiting. Anyways, it is not my job to educate the employees or pick them to do the job. So, after a loooong wait of TWO minutes in line, she asked for my documents and then she said that it had been sent and there is nothing we could do about it, you just have to wait or pay $20 for us to send it again... That is so frustrating, and the way she said it was unbearable. So, I calmly left the store and went back home to wait another 2 weeks but nothing arrived yet. I wish I went to PennDOT.

Update:

After speaking with Kim the co-manager I felt very satisfied. She explained everything that happened in sequence with a professional way and she took care of everything from her end. I really had to do nothing, just passed by the other day to pick up my new documents with no hassle. I wish everyone in that place was as professional, productive, and accurate as Kim. I have now received my plates, and title. I did not change my address or anything, it just this time I found everything in the mail. I recommend you contact the numbers given to you after you make a review and I am sure the managers will solve it to you.

I have always gone to this John Yurconic to renew my license as it was quicker than going to the DMV. I decided to go over my lunch break at work today, BIG MISTAKE. I have never waited there as long as I did, I was there for 2 hours waiting to get my picture taken. There were periods of time where the staff wasn't even taking pictures, just fiddling around with the machine or on the phone trying to figure out a problem that had NOTHING to do with the photo center. At one point they went 20 minutes without servicing any customers. I just wanted to leave but at that point they were stuck on number 95 and I was 97 - how much worse could it get? Well the employee took my picture twice and when I got to the questions portion the system crashed (or something ???? i don't know) he had to take my picture a 3rd time and my hair was sticking up, which I'll now be stuck with for 4 years as this time I wasn't asked if it was okay like everyone else was. I understand he noticed I was in a rush (who wouldn't be after being there for 2 hours with a job to go back to??) but like come on man. He apologized for my wait but at that point I just did not care. This place needs to work on it's customer service and realize that there are other things that are more important than figuring out how to receive an order on the computer when there are at least 20 people waiting to get their licenses renewed. They also need to train their employees on the computer system and on how to troubleshoot the printer because a good 30 minutes were wasted with one employee trying to fix the laminating machine. All in all, I will not return - that is two hours of my life I will never get back.

I have been into John Yurconic's a few times and must say I am very disappointed in the way he treats his staff. The company has some amazing employees who are hard working and very dedicated, but are not treated with the same respect. I have seen on a number of occasions how some of the customers yell at the notaries and how they curse at them. These ladies take a lot of verbal and emotional abuse from their customers each day. They are dealing with our records and information that are being sent to Penndot and their licenses are on the line, but they get no respect or backing from their management when they are dealing with unruly customers. I hope the agency reads this comment and sends their upper management to perfessional development training on how to respect their employees and how to keep their employees happy. I have been into a few offices and seen that some of the notaries are no longer with the company because of the lack of respect from upper management. It seems they need to learn a lession "Employees who believe that management is concerned about them as a whole person - not just an employee - are more productive, more satisfied, more fulfilled. Satisfied employees mean satisfied customers, which leads to profitability. ~ Anne M. Mulcahy" Due to the way this company treats its employees I no longer go to them and have chosen to take my business to another notary. One of the managers who I have called and spoke to about this issue named "Kim" was very rude and even through her employees under the bus." Very unprofessional!

I called this morning to figure out what was needed to get myself a Pa State ID. I was told 2 proofs of residency, birth certificate, and SS# all of which I had. I was also told they only take checks. So I show up pick a number and wait patiently just to find out "THEY DONT DO STATE IDS!!! JUST RENEWALS OF LICENSES. Or so the 19 year old looking girl told me. She also said we would be never released that information over the phone. But they did. I will never be using Yurconic ever again. All they did was give me the run around.

I went in for a license renewal. The staff is all very friendly and helpful, the instructions are clear and to the point. They know what they are doing here with polite and efficient service. I had my camera card already with me and the whole process took less than 15 minutes (including waiting time).

When the DMZ is packed and all you need is an updated driver's license or registration this place is great. Get in and get out. The fees are more than the DMZ but the convenience is what you pay for. Staff is more than willing to help with any questions and regulations you need help with.
