I am extremely disappointed in the service offered by Quaint Oak Abstract, especially Ada Martinez. My client was under contract on January 23rd with title being ordered at the beginning of February for a closing date of March 30th. Everything was going smoothly and we received a clear to close 1 week prior to our settlement date. On March 29th at 8PM, I received notice from the buyer's agent that the title agent had found issues on the title, after having the order for well over 2 months. Because of this, my client had to take on the cost of 2 lock extensions due to the title companies lack of communication. When asked what they could do to help bear some of this burden, they said that it is out of their control and there is nothing they could do. If you want to close your loan on time and have a title agent that communicates effectively, I HIGHLY suggest not using Quaint Oak Abstract.
