On October 24, 2023 I called the Kyle Linder State Farm office on Mason Road in Katy Texas to purchase auto insurance for my vehicle.

I was connected to office Manager Walter R., who gave me a quote of $156.

On October 31, 2023 I logged into the app and my account stated I owed $1313.26. I emailed and called the office and received a email response from Walter R. who stated that the app was incorrect and I would be paying $156 according to what was seen on his end.

On November 9, 2023 I received mail stating I Owed $1313.26 again I called the office to confirm my payment would inly be $156 for auto insurance. Walter email me confirmation of that being the case.

On November 13, 2023 I received mail and an app update that my payment would be $322 per month. Again I called the office and was told research would be done & that someone would follow up with me once my account was updated. That call never came and the office began to ignore my calls and emails. The office manager never called or emailed me back. No one called. I also sent emails, and messaged Kyles facebook account to no avail.

On November 17, 2023 I decided to drive to the local office and speak directly with Walter R (office manager) and was told that underwriting found a accident on my record from 2021 that wasn’t reported until 10/24/2023.

That was a flat LIE! I did some research and discovered that Walter R. never pulled/submitted my driving record before giving me a quote and promised price. This was his error. The accident was reported on my record immediately after the accident in 2021. Because of Walters error Im now responsible to pay an additional $200 that I cannot afford to pay.

If he would have pulled the report prior to providing a quote I would have declined coverage at that rate.

I have an email thread that proves every word stated in this complaint.

I had posted a review and took it down becuase Kyle reached and supossdly helped after no one in his office was able to help and answer my questions on why my bill went up $70 a month, but my bill went up $100 after his help. Switched to Lindner for a year and experienced nothing but chaos and issues. I was on autopay and still experienced computer generated communications to pay my bill when it was already paid. They messed up our policies on several occasions and I was on the phone with their incompetence at least once a month. After I switched State Farm agents, I realized I could have been saving $50-$70 with a more attentive and competent agent. Find another State Farm agent in the area. You won’t be disappointed and you will probably save money.

Would not suggest this office as your State Farm office. I’ve had State Farm on and off for over 15 years and this office is by far the worst I’ve worked with. The office staff is incredibly rude. With an office like this you might as well have an online insurance company that you never meet the agent, it will be about the same customer service. I was called by Ron from this office to provide me with a quote for car insurance. I told him multiple times in length that I didn't want the monitoring app in my vehicles and explained why. He said he understood and quoted me a price for a policy. I accepted and switched from Geico to State Farm. A week later I get 2 monitors for my cars and multiple emails telling me my price of my policy will go up without these being put in my vehicles. I called the office frustrated and left a message, as no one picked up the phone. Ron calls me back and proceeded to tell me that he must have told me about the monitors and I just forgot or wasn't listening... NOPE, NO SIR, NOT WHAT HAPPENED! I know exactly what was said and what I asked for. Absolutely disgusted by the response I was given and his inability to take responsibility.

People at this agency are great, can't say as much for State Farm, if you make a change or add a vehicle the payment system gets whacked.

Stay away from this place. All agents here are absolutely trash.

1) monthly auto insurance amount fluctuated for many reasons and would call them monthly to find out why, they always needed more documentation or the agent never checked their email

2) When calling this office I was told I would get a call back from an agent who could assist and never received a call back.

3) was in a no fault car accident and it took months for them to say it was totaled and the following week was told they would fix car, then to come back a week later to say they would total car. Accident was December 17 and a determination was finally made Feb 23.

4) when I emailed I would be cancelling my policy since getting them on phone was near impossible. I finally got a call fro. Kyle asking why and he informed me they would process the cancellation of my policies and someone would call me and of course no one called me back or provided documentation or return of payment.

Don’t expect quality service or agents who can assist with your needs for auto or homeowners insurance.

Truly appreciate the service and dedication of these agents. I highly recommend this agency as they really go above and beyond to help out with all you insurance needs. My agent Mrs Escamilla is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and ensured that I understood what I was paying for.

Great agency , one that actually cares about their clients, they make you feel as if it is not about taking your money and that is it. They offer great financial advices and have good staff. We have been with Kyle Lindner for about seven years now, and love the service we have received both from him and those who work in his office. I go over my policy yearly with him, face to face, and he always takes the time to explain every detail while trying to save us $$. We have seven vehicles on our policy so that isn't easy! His staff has always been helpful whenever I have wanted to make a change on any of the vehicles, and today, the receptionist helped me get set up with the Drive Safe mobile devices for our vehicles. I truly appreciate the care and response I have always received from our State Farm agent and his staff.

I would rate this Zero stars but unfortunately I can't. I came here and got insurance in 2011 and was always pleased with the service I had. A couple of years later I have 2 vehicles with insurance (one with liability and one full coverage) and renters insurance since I do not own a home. Well I recently purchased a new vehicle and traded in one of my old ones so I callled up here to switch my full coverage to my new vehicle. When I called to speak to someone about the switch I had been informed that my policy was cancelled back in September of last year. I was floored by this. I had been with them for over 5 years and cancelled my services without a notice or anything. When I explained this to the agent on the phone she transfered me to Kyle Lender who is the person in charge of this State Farm branch and he told me the same thing the previous agent had told me and explained that I was dropped because they had not recieved payments from me when my account was set up to autobill me. He then told me that State Farm sent me letters to my home saying that my services had been cancelled. I had never recieved one letter about this and my insurance card was good through December of last year! How does that work? When I explained this to him and wanted to keep my plan he explained to me that i was now considered a high risk person to be insured by State Farm and that my premium would go up because of this (what really makes me mad is that I had gotten a letter from them while I was on bed rest from back surgery last year that it was going down for being a loyal customer). He then tells me he would call me in 30 minutes to see what he could do. An hour later I get a call from someone else at the branch telling me everything Kyle and the first agent I spoke with initially. I then reexplained everything I had told the both of them and he was in shock and disarray that something like this even happened and when I asked why Kyle was not calling me back he told me he had left for the day then proceeds to give me premiums much higher than when I was part of State Farm. I don't know why any of this happened and probably will never find out. They left me high and dry after they stopped caring I guess cause they never informed me via email, mail, or phone call that my insurance was cancelled (which is illegal) so now ive been driving for 7 months with no insurance and not being informed that I didnt have any. I called many companies last night to get my insurance situation settled because I don't feel I can trust either this branch or the company itself.

Richard Hansil went above and beyond his call of duty for me on August 11, 2016! My home loan was at a stand still and he pushed and pulled to make my dream come true!
He was fantastic at helping me find a better and greater solution in order for me to move forward with getting a close date for my new home! Mr. Hansil made calls while I was frustrated and because of his determination and efforts, I am where I am today.
Mr. Richard Hansil is very knowlegable in his department and it was very impressive to me. Mr. Hansil's customer service was delivered with great satisfaction on my behalf and Statefarm's. Glad he's at Statefarm..he's truly a treasure:)

HORRIBLE, unprofessional, and rude! These people slammed me with a policy using old payment informations month before I was even ready, and tried to make me think I was doing something wrong. And this guy Richard Hansil- rude, will lie in a second and not to be trusted.

I am a state farm customer for more than last two years. I was working with Mr. Linder all the time. Earlier his service was good but recently I am experiencing difficulties even to talk with anyone over phone. I have scheduled three appointments without any call back. Call them personally six times without getting hold of any of the personal assistance in there office (forget about the agent himself). I am going to change my agent in Katy. If I am paying on time then I expect proper assistance as well. It’s not a free service or charity in either way.

I was never a huge fan of State Farm but that has changed for me, I had been with Farmers for more than 20 years and then one night I received a call from a young lady I think her name was Angela, I decided to give her my Auto information and shortly after that I got a quote that was much cheaper than what I had been paying with Farmers, I had stopped by the Office and was greeted by Claudia, very friendly and she made me feel at home, as I was waiting to be helped, the office staff was wonderful and very nice, it's good to know that there are companies still out there that value the customer as a human and are willing to go the extra mile, I am happy to have switched to State Farm but also happy to have Kyle Lindner as my agent.. You guys rock!!!

I had 2 minor accident since then and after 6 month of higher premium which was 20% more than before the accident they canceled my policy because of those two accidents. Well you could say I deserve that, but I am just happy that other insurance companies are eager to get me the policy with much cheaper rate and more coverage even with my history . Thanks State Farm for kicking me out so that I could get the better policy.

Buying insurance has never been easier!!!! The whole experience was exceptional from the moment you walk through the door you receive superb customer service. A special mention to who I can know call my insurance agent Darlene Moreira. Darlene provided not only all the information I was searching for but educated me with better options and services that I was not aware and that truly would benefits my needs. She was very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and more. I would definitely recommend all my friends this location. Exceptional service. The team is always willing to spend this extra 5 min to answer all your questions and make sure that you feel comfortable about your choices. When you call, you are never just somebody on the phone, you feel like you are part of their family as they know exactly who is calling and are always willing to help. AMAZING!!!

I relay enjoyed the warm atmosphere that this office projects!! Everyone is very nice and greets you warmly when you walk through the door.
