Last month I had my car smashed by car thefts. It was a Friday afternoon after I got off from my internship company. When I arrived the theft had left, leaving my car destroyed. It is the first time I encountered things like this, and of course I freak out. I called State Farm, and eventually got to talk to Wade. He’s such a nice, professional guy in his role. Our phone call last more than two hours, partial because it’s a Friday afternoon, and it’s hard to find tow. Wade not only call tow companies with me one by one, but he also constantly tried to clam me down, teach me how to deal with stuffs like this in the future, very patient with my accent and negative emotions. Now my car is all fixed and I really wanna give this incredible man a big shout out!

Cost of insurance for my brand new car was $100 when I purchased it, slowly but surely every 6 months the price went up even though my car was literally worth less as time passed on.

After 2 years they wanted $170 per month, I was able to get the same coverage from progressive for $80 a month! State Farm is a scam in my opinion.

Horrible company. I have been with Wade for almost 20 years. I have 3 vehicles and my home insured with him. Despite the many years of being a loyal customer, Wade has raised my rates 3 times in less then a year. I would NOT recommend them unless you like agreeing to one amount only to have them raise it on your next renewal.

Edit: just for a little added perspective, I haven't had a ticket in almost 15 years and have 0 accidents on my record. I pay my bill on time every month and have excellent credit. Despite all of that, I've had the rates raised 3 times in less then a year on one of my vehicles and another time on my third vehicle before I had even had it insured with them for a full 6 months.

I had an expiring auto policy that I wasn't happy with, but I'm a dunce and let procrastination and forgetfulness leave me with little time to evaluate alternatives. Eager to avoid quote websites, I tried contacting a few other local agents with little response until finally I called the Wade Au State Farm office. The phone was immediately answered by Michael who was able to put together an auto policy in just a few minutes, that simultaneously had much better terms yet was almost $100/mo less than my old policy. To my genuine surprise the process was completely painless, even for someone as introverted as I am (even in a quiet park—what if a bird tries to make conversation with me like some Disney character?). There was no arm-twisting and no upselling, and in just a few minutes he succinctly explained everything in a way that respected the meager amounts of time and intelligence I manage to scrape together.

Michael then asked about what I spend on homeowners' insurance. I told him and braced for the hook, but he just suggested that he could offer me even better terms if I bundled home and auto and asked if I were interested in a meeting to review that. Knowing as much as I do about homeowners' insurance (approximately zero), I agreed just to see how the numbers worked. About 25 minutes into that meeting I had a greatly superior homeowners' policy, even better auto insurance rates, and the knowledge to understand what I was signing up for. All for a big monthly discount vs my previous policies.

But if something were to go wrong, we would be a little uneasy with the amount of coverage we chose five years ago. It just wouldn’t cut a high monetary lawsuit. Layla at Wade’s office got me through my insurance claim every step of the way. She went above and beyond for me after I was not having success with the adjuster assigned to my insurance claim. She became the sole person I could reach out to and rely on to get answers every step of the way. If it wasn’t for the service I received directly from her, I would no longer be with State Farm. My insurance claim went through three different adjusters over a 9 month period, and by the end of my claim, my local field adjuster also became non responsive. It speaks volumes of Layla’s capabilities, along with the compassion and care she gave to my claim, that I feel confident that if another claim was filed again that I will taken care of. She is not a claim adjuster, it is not in the scope of work she does, but she was my claim adjuster for a water damage claim that had me displaced from my home for 6 months. It is only because of her persistent dedication that everything was covered. I do not believe there are many insurance agents who would do what she did for me. I would not consider using another insurance agent. There is no better office than Wade’s for a client to feel truly covered and protected.
