It is comforting to actually have an agent that you can call upon whenever needed. If Mark is not able to answer a call, he will always get back to us same day. Same with email contact. You are no longer talking with whomever answers the phone when you call your insurance company, there is a personal connection. We have all of our insurance with Mark Yang and Associates, car, boat, home, earthquake and umbrella and would never consider switching. When Allstate required us to "firewise" our home and gave us an extensive list of "to do's" Mark walked us through each item and contacted the underwriters with any questions and clarifications that were needed. I moved to WA recently and began the daunting experience of gettinge new car and rental insurance. I was connected with Mark and was pleasantly surprised! He made getting new insurance extremely painless. ...And let me tell you, at my age, having had many cars and many rental places, I have done this MANY times and it is almost always quite painful! 🤣

Mark has operated a full-service Allstate Insurance office on the street level of the Cobrizo Condominium, located at 40th & Aurora Avenue N. He is knowledgeable, friendly & very helpful. The office is air conditioned during the warmer weather months.
Mark and his team are great to work with. Always quick to respond, listens to our needs sets each insurance policy up to fit best with each family. I can feel confident that when I reach out to Mark for an inquiry I will receive a response within the next hour or two. Happy and confident knowing I can lean on Mark when I need to!
I've been insured through Allstate for nearly a decade, and couldn't make it through 3 months with the incompetency of this office.
Every single month I get a different charge that doesn't explain what I'm *actually* being billed for. This caused me to finally cancel my policy at the end of this month before it renews, and to my surprise (sarcasm) I woke up the next day to ANOTHER mystery bill in my e-mail, big red letters, PAST DUE. Doesn't say what for, whether it's a monthly installment or cancellation fee. The billed amount is different from what is due for the month after my cancellation, so God and Allstate only know.
I've confirmed with (useless) customer service reps that they do not charge to cancel a policy. I've still yet to hear what this bill is for.

Everyone I worked with was competent, and very helpful. Our agent Mark Yang, the claims contact Jennifer Gonzalez, and the adjuster Tom McCune, were all great to work with. Jennifer had to readjust the claim since my car was stolen a 2nd time in 2 weeks. She also took care of getting the car out of impound and to my mechanic which was REALLY helpful since there were delays getting a local tow. They all made dealing with a stressful situation much easier.
I've had nothing but good things to say about Mark Yang. He is down to earth and very professional. Listened to all my concerns regarding both renters insurance and car insurance. Helped me understand how the milewise product works and was extremely transparent with how the next few months of billing will look. He is easy to get ahold of and always on top of communications.
It is difficult to fully convey the depth of my dissatisfaction with Allstate insurance agent Mark Yang, but I will do my best to describe his failure at providing me with appropriate service or coverage.
I became a client of Mr. Yang when he purchased the agency from Cathy Darracott . Because she had been a superb and attentive agent, I believed that these qualities would be transferred to Mr. Yang. I couldn't have been more wrong. For the many years he serviced my account, he made numerous errors with regard to the type of coverage I needed, as well as the category in which I should have been placed as a customer in good standing. The error he made in classifying me as a high risk insured, when I am actually a preferred customer, caused me to be charged excessive amounts for inferior coverage. Mr. Yang even allowed me to pay a high premium on a car I own that is valued at less than the one-year cost of coverage. The car, valued at barely $10,000 (which is currently not even drivable) cost over
$6,000 for half the year of coverage. This is only the tip of the iceberg of what I feel to be his gross negligence as an agent. Additionally, he listed me as the primary occupant of homes I own, but in which I do not live. This, of course, carried with it a higher cost. He under-insured my high-end valuables, at one point telling me that a piece of jewelry was not covered when, in fact, it was. He charged me multiple times for the same coverage on various policies, and he at no point reviewed my policies or coverage to ensure that he was quoting me the best rates and coverage. In essence, I have been under-insured and overcharged. Now, perhaps one might think it was my responsibility to demand due diligence and make sure I had the best coverage. However, an insurance agent is someone that a client is supposed to be able to trust and depend on to serve their best interests as a loyal customer. My agent, Mark Yang did not research my coverage or needs to provide the best policy, suited to those needs. In fact, he never spoke to me or met with me to gain a clear understanding of my insurance requirements. Instead, I feel he took advantage of my trust and heaped inflated charges on me. Even if his actions were not nefarious, they were certainly needless.
After having lost thousands of dollars in improper charges, discovering that my policies are inadequate, and being told that my valuables are not covered, I am determined to never again accept such poor service or representation. I am also making my experience known for the benefit of those who might otherwise suffer the same loss and disappointment resulting from gross negligence on the part of their agent. Save yourself time, money, and headaches. Find an agent who will make the effort to provide you with the best coverage at the best cost.

Mark Yang has been an excellent Allstate agent to me and my family. When my brand new vehicle was involved in a hit and run incident. He explained my policy coverage and walked me thru the process step by step. When I needed a windshield replacement because a rock hit my vehicle while driving on the highway. He reassured me that my comprehensive coverage would take care of that issue for me. He literally lives up to Allstate’s motto of me “being in good hands!”
Mark does an exceptional job at responding to my needs and inquiries. He escalates claims to the right departments on my behalf. This was experienced with a recent auto accident that I was involved with and helped navigate to the claims adjusters to ensure timely processing and handling.

100% Recommend this agency - I have never waited longer than 24 hours to get an e-mail reply, and I have always been able to contact via phone. Mark Yang and the other agents are always ready to clarify anything that's confusing and remind you what you need to sign/pay/etc. I have had excellent service with this agency since 2015 when I bought my first house. Now I insure everything with them because of their unparalleled customer service.
I’m actually surprised there are negative reviews for this office. I never write reviews but my experience with Mark and his team warranted sharing my experience with a anyone shopping and looking for insurance. I made the switch to Mark Yang / Allstate back in 2017. The difference in the level of service from my last insurer (who was supposed to be on my side) deserves my 5 stars. Soon after I got my policy (and my new house) my entire fence came down in a wind storm. My first call was to Mark. He walked me through the claims process and within 24 hours Allstate had deposited funds into my checking account. All it took was a few pictures and a few answered questions and I was able to start building my new fence. Since 2017 I have referred Mark to many of my friends, family, and clients - most of which chose to switch to Allstate. So far, it’s been a great move and I have since included an umbrella insurance policy to my auto, home and boat policies. Call Mark and his team. They will take care of you and make you feel valued as a customer. Unlike my last insurance company where I had to wait 45 minutes and walk thru 13 prompts which I had to state everything twice bc the robot on the other end couldn’t understand just to talk with a live person.

Mark Yang has chased me from Allstate. This agency has posted hours. Even if you make an appointment, they are not there: lights on, door locked, not answering the phone.

I was with progresses auto & never spoke to the same person more than once, its nice to have an agent that knows who you are. Mark Yang was very helpful & found out I didn't have the coverage my condo HOA suggested, so we increased that & he made process was very easy, and I saved money on my car insurance👍
After twenty years of loyalty to Allstate for my insurance needs, I can definitely say that my experience with Mark's agency drove me far, far away from anything Allstate. Their complete lack of accountability for poor communication was impressive, and the "it's not my problem" attitude that Dustin describes above is a real thing. What's crazy is that Mark and Cathy Darracott assigned themselves to my account as local agents about 18 months ago, not my choice, but didn't see any problem with it at the time. I couldn't have been more wrong about that.
Twenty years of business with Allstate with no issues, no accidents, then my account gets picked up by Mark's office to start the downward spiral. Multiple unnecessary policy changes, incorrect withdraws from my checking account, and just a plain rude attitude. On multiple occasions, Mark tried to sell more insurance without addressing concerns with my existing policy. It's a shame, really, because I've never written a negative review like this...ever. In fact, the last review I wrote was actually solicited by Cathy (Mark's associate), encouraging me to give them a five star review on google and another site. Amazing.
When I went to Mark's Allstate page today, there were over 30 high rating reviews, with shockingly no negative ones. Don't worry, Allstate explained why in their Online Review Policy which states, "Allstate is dedicated to publishing the customer feedback we receive. This policy applies to agent reviews submitted by customers through the GetFiveStars platform. Hahaha, the "GetFiveStars" platform, dedicated to full disclosure 50% of the time.
I hope Mark and Cathy don't waste their time replying to this message, save that for the remaining customers. I already switched to another Insurance company and now I have adopted Mark's "I don't care" attitude regarding my old policy.
