37 years with State Farm and our Homeowners was dropped! We were dropped after an initial claim that wasn’t fixed properly (Thanks Dan…. We followed your contractor recommendation). Wasn’t fixed properly! Upon a second claim- 14 years later, because the original problem wasn’t properly fixed, we submitted a second claim. Five months later, we were dropped… If you are searching for an agent, do not give Dan McClung or State Farm your business! After paying our monthly payments to this company for 37 years we were dropped from our Homeowners Policy. Keep in mind that my wife and I are both retired and own our waterfront house “outright”on Lake Tapps…. Thank you for nothing Dan... You are not a “good neighbor...” Far from it- especially after 37 years with State Farm!!! If you are looking for insurance coverage, don’t walk… run away from this company and this broker, as fast as you can!!! You can do so much better!! If you try to contact Dan, good luck! He conveniently is “not available.” (He’s usually “on vacation” or “out golfing...”). Fridays in his office have been a foreign subject for Dan for several years. YOU CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!

We've been with Dan's State Farm office more years than I want to think about. (I'm too young to be this old.) The team is ALWAYS awesome. Someone always answers the phone, and no matter how weird or obscure my question, or change I want to make, they find me a solution or answer that is helpful. They follow-up, too. If they say they will call or email me, THEY DO. Yeah, there's a reason with been with this office for so long.

Just recently I took a trip to Denver, and I reached out to Ariana to make sure I had proper coverage for the rental car. Ariana got the proper add-on for me, and even went out of her way to follow up with me on the last day of my trip to get the add-on removed so I wouldn’t incur unnecessary charges. Wr have had the worse experience with this State Farm branch EVERY single time I have called they have not done what I have asked. I have to call back numerous times before it will be completed. We called and cancelled our policy and just got charged again after they told us they cancelled it. I’m furious

This agency is grossly incompetent, and will do nothing to show you that they respect and value your business. The employees consistently act like they can't be bothered to do their jobs and take care of their clients. Add to that that their approach to communicating with clents seems to be pretty basic, unprofessional, snarky, and condecending. Poor excuse for customer service. Though they're happy to take your money. Keep looking! ;-)

Not sure how this office has any bad reviews. The staff are so friendly and will help you anything and everything. Dan has been an agent at this same location for 35 years. Its so nice calling your local insurance agent and they all know you by name and actually feel like they care about you and your business.

Receptionist failed to create a policy for my vehicle. - Then managed to create a policy but applied it to someone else's State Farm account. Upon calling to figure out what was going on, I was treated horribly on the phone; I then tried to move my policy to another State Farm agent. - They sent it to some other agent in Bellevue, who denied the request and sent it back. Then the process starts over again with me hoping they send it to the agent I requested. Meanwhile I have "no insurance" - And now finally because of their inability to do their job, I owe back payments.

All in all, it was horrible. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.. They will do nothing to make it right.
